This division has developed some products that are aimed at combating urban pests due to increased resistance of some of them to chemicals and on the other hand, the sanitary requirements in some consumer products imposed by the health authorities.

For that reason and derived that there are organisms that have been successfully used to control these pests, the most widely used is Bacillus thuringiensis, which is being produced in this division as part of technology in environmental conservation, through a active ingredient using a mixture of spores and crystals of the bacteria Bt's variety kurstaki to control lepidopteran, effective and comparable protection chemicals, and provides a safe and useful alternative in integrated management programs pests.
